The Guru FREE Zone

When you hear the word Internet Marketing Guru what comes to mind?
Here are the first 5 things that come to my mind (in this order I might add):

1. Scammer
2. A Prideful, Arrogant person
3. Someone that is untouchable and unreachable
4. Someone that might know a few things about Internet Marketing
5. (Depending on who it is) Someone I need to follow and get to know

Sorry if I offended anyone but just speaking the truth here.

Did you know that according to the online dictionary the word Guru actually means:

You know what’s unfortunate? That being a Guru is actually not all that bad when you look at #3 & 4 but so many people have taken this word and put a negative connotation to it.

I remember a particular seminar I was giving to some local business owners and they introduced me as an Internet Marketing Guru.

Can I just tell you, I cringed at the title and quickly explained that I’m not a Guru, I’m just a gal that loves Internet Marketing and has a greater love of sharing what I’ve learned with others so they can be successful online.

Raise your hand if you’ve followed those self professed Gurus before!

It’s okay… I’m raising both my hands. 🙂

How many times have you been sucked into a self proclaimed Internet Marketing Guru’s course, ebook, email list or website claiming that they were going to give you all the “secrets” that have made them wealthy?

Oh and just for some fun you’ve got to read this article that shows you how you can “Retire in the next 7 Days with NO work”

Let me guess, after buying into the fact they were Gurus and they sincerely cared about you being successful, you then dumped money into their “system” only to find out that there was more to buy in order for it all to work.

Or worse, it was just a regurgitated ebook or ecourse you had bought months ago that didn’t work for you the first time around. 🙁

I’ve learned more times than not, a self professed Internet Marketing Guru will suck you in and spit you out as soon as they make their money off of you, then leave you in the dust while they move onto their next victim.

Oh and their “secret” was nothing more than offering empty promises, using emotions and circumstances to pull you in and give you a false sense of hope.

I don’t want to be a Guru…I want to be a real human that helps people

Remember in Pinochio where he states he wants to be a “Real Boy”?

Well this is my hearts desire. I want to be real with you. I want you to know, even though I have more than a decade of experience in Online Marketing and could be considered an “Internet Marketing Guru” I am all about being human and real and truly want to see you succeed.

I learn something new every day and I love the fact that I can share it with you through this website, Social Media, Email and other electronic forms of communication.
