I am launching my digital marketing business and relying partly on licensed resell products. I am one of those proud OCD digital creators with a brand promise built on delivering high-quality, relevant, substantive, and (*cough) typo-free creations (a huge pet peeve from my old-school education). So, I have a few questions:

1. I have purchased MRR/PLR products that did not include a license. In fact, about 99%+ have never included a license with the product. I will not be conducting business like that. With the proliferation of the same products everywhere (the typos are the giveaway), is there a way to find a document to cover me and the use of the document? Yep, I’m looking for a hybrid-inspired product license, which says I take this stuff seriously, and someone up the food chain messed up.

Also, FTR, I refuse to sell an MRR document with the same typo, grammar, duplicate sections, unfinished paragraphs, etc., no matter what the license says. It’s an integrity thing.

2. Where can I find a template or example of the licenses? Re: that hybrid need, can I craft my own license?

3. Do I need a state resale license for this business?

How exciting! You’re gonna love both. My initial response is to definitely just keep it to one site, especially if you are just starting out. Having more than one site can be overwhelming and you’ll get burned out quickly. To truly answer your question though I’d love to hear more about your goals and what you are thinking about doing? There are so many aspects to digital marketing, affiliate marketing, and this new (yet old 😉) MRR Products. I’d be happy to jump on a call with you if you’d like or you can always respond right here.

Thanks so much for stopping by and asking these questions. 🙂
I’m not quite sure I understand the 1st question about another procedure to follow if the message has been received by the recipient. Can you expound on that just a little bit more so I can make sure I answer it correctly for you.

Also, I’m not seeing where the “privacy mode” and the setting “specific” is located. When I go to Settings > Privacy I see where I can change my settings for Who Can Contact Me > Whose messages do I want filtered in my inbox – I have mine set for Basic Filtering which is recommended. What this means is that those that I am friends with on FB can message and I could receive message in my inbox from friends of my friends but most of the time it will go in the “Other” box.
The reason Facebook does this is to prevent behavior that others may find annoying or abusive. To ensure that someone got your message on FB that you may not be friends with, Facebook will allow you to pay for that service and when the message comes to the inbox, that person will not know that you paid to have your message sent to them.

If you can explain to me the steps you took for the setting where you can change it to “specific” I might be able to help you a little bit better.

I get a message that mentions that the messages will go to another folder
because I am not connected to the person on face book.
According to some of the settings that I have, one setting is
in the privacy mode. When I try to change the setting to “specific”
it goes back to the “only me” setting. Is it because of the changes made
upon signing up?

I can’t tell you how much your comment means to me. I put together this training after I saw a lot of people getting on Facebook and not understanding the difference between a friends wall and their private messages. There are so many videos out there that target Businesses but there are millions of FB users that don’t understand all the working of FB. I just wanted to help those people to be able to understand it a little bit better. 😉
